I find this image to be particularly striking. The way everything is framed, and where it is placed, is quite well-conceived.
I've seen a good number of images similar to this, but that doesn't seem very relevant to the quality in this case, and it might just be because I personally tend to seek out these types of images.
The black and white is balanced well and very pleasing, however the vignetting is a bit too heavy, and the fact that it's almost completely black at the top is distracting-- I'm left feeling like the image is too obscured. The actual subject would stand out more if you had left more of the sky as a paler negative space, or even if you had just made it seem less like a gigantic vignette and more like a dramatic sky (the latter possibly accomplished by reducing the vignette on the bottom?).
Overall, great job.

If you don't speak french, this picture is one of the most beautiful that I've seen of that monument.

In french ..( Je n'ai pas vu si tu parlais français mais si oui, cette photo est l'une des plus belles que j'ai vu du cinquantenaire, du coup, c'est avec beaucoup de plaisir ).
